Would it be when Brutus first met the conspirators? Also if we do that they will ask if Brutus asked to spare Antony ( which he did) so we would need a response to that
I also made a list of some things we can ask Brutus and Cassius. Here it is:
For Cassius: 1. Did you recieve word that Antony had killed many senators? 2. Do you believe that this was caused by the death of Caesar and the betrayal of his friends? 3. Does this seem as if it benefited Rome? 4. What proof do you have of Caesar's tyranny? -If they answer about Caesar killing Pompey ask "How do you know that Pompey wasn't a tyrant?" or say "But if Pompey won and killed Caesar wouldn't that make him a tyrant?" 5. Does Caesar's will seem like the will of a tyrant? 6. Can you explain how you persuaded Brutus to join your conspiracy? 7. Is it true that you planted fake letters at Brutus's house? 8. When you heard that Caesar would recieve the crown were you at all envious of him? 9. Would I be right to say that some of this envy drove your ambitions to overthrow Caesar? For Brutus: 1. How did you end up joining the Conspiracy? 2. Were you aware that Cassius wrote those notes? 3. What proof do you have of Caesars Tyranny? 4. To you does Rome seem like a better place now? 5. Is it true that you bathed your hands in Caesar's blood? 6. What reasons were there for this?
We should figure out who will ask which questions. I think that Casi should talk to the conspirators, Antony, Calphernia and other major roles. Shae and I can split between commoners, servants and middle people.
But what what did Cassius say? We need a witness statement describing what they heard

ReplyDeleteWe could say that he only said that because he wanted to look good because that is why he said that.
ReplyDeleteAlso for Caesar's servant we could ask if the servant if he had heard anything from Caesar that would show that he was a tyrant.
